MoneyMeter (getmoneymeter.com) provides free online calculators for paychecks, loans, mortgages and other personal finance estimates. This page explains what information is and is not collected when you use the site.
Information you enter into calculators
MoneyMeter does not ask you to create an account. The numbers you type into a calculator (salary, loan amount, interest rate and so on) are processed in your own browser. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running, secure and fast.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across other websites. The data we see is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Cookies and advertising
MoneyMeter may show ads served by third-party vendors, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how ads are shown, but the calculators will continue to work.
External links
Our pages may link to official sources such as government tax agencies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.
Children's privacy
MoneyMeter is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your privacy rights
We do not sell personal information and we do not collect personal information through the calculators. If you are a resident of a US state with privacy laws (for example California), you may ask us what information we hold about you, if any, by using the contact details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
